Energy & the Environment
Energy & Environment faculty are focused on the chemistry underlying “sustainability” and are working to advance the renewable energy nanotechnology and environmental science. These groups are seeking real-world solutions to the critical questions related to energy and environment. The research is frequently interdisciplinary, with projects investigating areas such as energy-critical materials, energy harvesting and storage technologies, challenges in energy-relevant catalysis, carbon capture, light harvesting photovoltaics, and energy storage systems.
