Walter and Roy Cross Professional Service Award

Every month the peer-reviewed papers published by chemistry faculty from the three previous months are reviewed by the Chemistry Department Chair and Associate Chairs and a winner is named. The monthly recipient of the Walter and Roy Cross Professional Service Award receives a cash prize of $1000 and is featured on the departmental website.

August 2024 - Jon Tunge

The Department of Chemistry congratulates Professor Jon Tunge on receiving the August 2024 Walter and Roy Cross Professional Service Award! His winning paper was published in Chemistry A European Journal and is titled, “Cobalt-Catalyzed Allylic Alkylation at sp3-Carbon Centers.”

April 2024 - Marco Caricato

The Department of Chemistry congratulates Professor Marco Caricato on receiving the April 2024 Walter and Roy Cross Professional Service Award!
