REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) Summer Programs

For many students, summer is a great time to have an immersive research experience. 

National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs are one option to explore, which you can do via their searchable directory:

KU offers a Chemistry REU program that is open to non-KU students who have limited opportunities for research at their home institutions.  KU students doing full-time summer research are welcome to take part in REU professional development activities and can also apply for the scholarship below, which provides financial support similar to what NSF-funded participants receive.
