Course & Exam Printing Services

The Chemistry Office provides printing support for KU Chemistry faculty and departmental needs, including course materials, quizzes, and exams.

Please note: This service is available for Chemistry Department printing only. Our staff and student hourlies are not able to accommodate printing requests for other departments, programs, or non-Chemistry activities.

Submit a Request

Faculty can submit printing materials and instructions through the Chemistry Printing Request Form.

The form allows you to upload your document and provide printing details, including:

  • Number of copies
  • Black and white or color
  • Single- or double-sided
  • Stapling
  • Paper color
  • Date and time needed
  • Special instructions

Please Plan Ahead

Whenever possible, please allow 48 hours for printing requests. Advance notice is especially important during high-volume periods such as midterms and finals.

Requests submitted with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be guaranteed, although we will make every effort to accommodate them.

For same-day requests, or requests submitted after regular business hours for early next-day completion, please submit the request form and contact Stephanie Chamberlain directly so we are aware of the short turnaround time.

Faculty with upcoming exams or other large printing needs are encouraged to provide advance notice whenever possible. This helps us plan for larger jobs and ensure materials are ready when needed.

Exams and Confidential Materials

Student hourlies may assist Chemistry Office staff with course and exam printing. Students assigned to this work are selected specifically to avoid conflicts with Chemistry coursework and are expected to follow departmental confidentiality and secure-handling procedures.

Completed exams and other sensitive course materials will be kept secure until they are picked up or otherwise distributed as arranged.
