Welcome Dr. Aaron Teator 
Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry
Starting Fall 2021

Aaron received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin under the co-mentorship of Christopher Bielawski and Jennifer Brodbelt. He is currently a Cottrell Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Frank Leibfarth at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Aaron's research interests reside at the interface of organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and materials science, and he will seek to develop new polymerization mechanisms, design new classes of functional monomers, and explore new polymer functionalization strategies in order to address current limitations in diverse fields, including engineering, medicine, and biotechnology.
